Playing Ludo Cities

These terms are an agreement between you and Techbeaver IT Systems LTD, 22 Adeleye Street, Lagos 100231, Nigeria ("we"). By using the app you accept them. If you do not, please do not use it. Apple's standard licence terms for apps also apply to the iPhone version.

The game

Ludo Cities is a Ludo game for entertainment. There is no gambling: no stakes, no cash prizes, no prizes you can cash out, and nothing you buy changes the dice or the scoring. Purchased items are cosmetic or unlock features as described in the app.

Your account

You can play with an anonymous account. Linking Apple, Google or an email address lets you keep progress across devices. Keep your password to yourself. You are responsible for what happens under your account.
You need to be old enough to agree to these terms where you live. If you are under 13 you may not create an account or play online (see the privacy policy). If you are under 18 and the law of your country requires it, a parent or guardian should agree for you.
Your display name must not be offensive, impersonate someone, or advertise anything. We may change a name that breaks this rule.

Playing fairly and kindly

You agree not to:

cheat, use bots or scripts to play for you online, exploit bugs, or interfere with the servers or other players' connections;
harass, threaten or abuse other players, or send hateful, sexual or illegal content in chat, names or emotes;
share links, phone numbers, email addresses or other personal details in chat, or try to get around the chat filter;
deliberately leave matches to spoil them, or arrange results with other players (win-trading) in ranked play;
try to reach other players' accounts, or buy, sell or share accounts.

Players can report and block each other. We may warn you, limit chat, remove you from online play, or close your account if you break these rules. Serious cases are decided by us; if you think we got it wrong, write to us at [email protected].

Online matches

The server runs online matches and rolls the dice. If you disconnect, a bot may play for you until you come back; in a ranked match a seat that ends on a bot counts as a loss, and in a one-against-one match a player who leaves loses. Match results, ratings and rankings may be corrected if we find a fault or cheating. Online play may be unavailable during maintenance.

Purchases and the Cities Pass

The Cities Pass is an auto-renewing subscription (monthly or yearly) that unlocks hosting online rooms and quick match, Party mode, every finisher and every board look, and removes interstitial ads. Friends you invite to a room you host join free. The price and billing period are shown in the app before you buy. Other items are one-off purchases.
Payment is taken by Apple or Google. Subscriptions renew automatically unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the period ends, in your Apple or Google account settings. Cancelling stops the next renewal; you keep the Pass until the period you paid for ends.
Refunds are handled by Apple or Google under their rules. If you receive a refund, the item is removed.
Prices vary by country and may change; a price change for a subscription is shown to you first as the store requires.
Nothing in these terms limits any right you have by law to cancel or to a refund.

The free app shows ads, as described in the privacy policy. Ads are the advertisers' content, not ours.

Our rights and yours

The app, its artwork, sounds and code belong to us or our licensors. You may use the app for your own play. You may not copy it, reverse engineer it, or use its content for other products. What you type or name is yours, but you give us permission to show it to other players as the game needs.

No guarantees, and limits on liability

We work hard to keep Ludo Cities running, but we provide it "as is" and cannot promise it will always be available or free of faults. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, or for losses caused by things outside our control, and our total liability for any claim is limited to what you paid us in the 12 months before it. Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited by law, including for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or fraud, or your rights as a consumer.

Ending these terms

You can stop at any time and delete your account in the app. We can end or suspend your access if you break these terms or if we stop running the game, and we will give notice when we reasonably can. Cancelling a subscription is done in your Apple or Google account.

Changes and law

We may update these terms; if the change matters we will tell you in the app before it applies, and by continuing to play you accept it. These terms are governed by the law of the place where Techbeaver IT Systems LTD is established, without affecting any mandatory consumer rights you have where you live.
